FDCBPCS is an NGO developing, implementing and managing European projects and providing consultations in the spheres of culture, art, tourism, e-learning as well as non-formal education, support for creative school education development, as well as regional development. FDCBPCS team also provides school administrations, SMEs, NGOs and local authorities with EU project development/implementation and regional development services and trainings. FDCBPCS has a network of school partners throughout the country, developed and maintained under a number of successful projects. FDCBPCS is an experienced organization with a broad scope of collaborators and partners within the country and abroad, which will be made available for the benefit of the project. FDCBPCS has already 12 years of experience in the sphere of projects development and implementation mainly in the culture sector, non-formal education and creativity in education. Since April 2017 FDCBPCS is a licensed provider of an innovative social service for visually impaired children and young people and works in close collaboration and mutual support with the two schools for v.i. students in the country – the ones in Sofia and Varna. An important running project, results and contacts from which FDCBPCS is about to use in VIVA, is the "Applied theatre in support of visually impaired children and young people", supported by the BG Operational programme "Human resources development" - https://www.appliedtheatrecubufoundation.eu.
Another relevant Erasmus+ initiative, coordinated by FDCBPCS, is "V.I.S.I.ON: Visual Impairment Social Inclusion ON", focused on using drama exercises for developing the confidence and expression skills of visually impaired children - www.vision-erasmusplus.eu - awarded as a good practice by the BG NA and as a success story by the European Commission. - “Strengthen Creative Cooperation”, a finalized EuropeAid project, aiming at implementing a cultural and peer learning for the purpose of developing communication and soft skills and building capacities for artistic and cultural/intercultural expressions - http://powerofculture.eu/strengthen_creative_cooperation/index.htm - KA2 Erasmus+ project “Learning families”, which has created a training programme for active parental involvement in the school life and improved relations and collaboration among parents, students and the school staff; - the "HealthEDU" Erasmus+ project focused on healthy nutrition for children at the age of 4-10 - http://healthedu.emundus.eu; - the "CULPEER for Integration" Erasmus+ project – www.culpeer.eu - "2IMINED" Erasmus+ project, which provide support to migrants, refugees and disadvantaged people at various ages (students on the one side and adults on the other) – migis.eu; - "Pathway through religions", which aims promoting awareness of religions and foster a sense of mutual tolerance at school - https://pathwaythroughreligions.pixel-online.org. As far as project management is concerned FDCBPCS has promoted, managed and reported a substantial number of socially responsible EU projects, since 2006, supported by the BG, RO, IT, MT, LT, LV and DE national Erasmus+ agencies as well as the OP Human resources development in its transnational dimensions. The organization has 5 full-time staff members plus 5 more part-time involved experts, who join the team depending on the topics covered and the tasks that have to be carried out. We have also volunteers, who support the organization in its social activities as they obtain skills through the various training courses we organize ourselves or include them in via Erasmus+ projects.
